We usually get ~250 kids in our development. They come here from 3 towns away because it's a safe, enclosed development with one way in and out and the offerings are usually pretty good.

We've toned down the scary stuff due to being so many kids. Now it's just pumpkins, big spiders, the fog machine etc.

Ours always did that when we were younger.

That’s why I use foam pumpkins now. If I’m putting in that much effort to carve them, those damn things better last.

I just pack them away and get them out the following year. I add 2-3 new ones to the collection every year.

I do miss that smell of the candle burning in the pumpkin and warming the pumpkin.

These were the two new ones this year.
