Saw the ISS last night
Was very cool.....I get the notifications when it is coming over,where to look for start and where it will go......was perfect and sky was so clear......didn't take pics but will try in future sightings

I accidentally got a picture of it two or three years ago while taking pictures of the Milky Way. I was amazed at how fast it traveled across the sky.
Some astrophotographer friends of mine have shot "transit" shots of the ISS as it passes across the moon or sun. Takes serious skill and equipment to capture it as it's only silhouetted over the moon or sun for about 1 second. So a little luck too. Google ISS moon transit images for some cool shots. |

Passed over my house last night. Yes, this is a crappy cellphone pic but I love space stuff. I use Sky Guide and have it set to alert me on ISS passes as well as iridium flares.
