Default Throttle Body and Heat

Anyone care to guess how much heat a throttle body can take? I want to have mine powder coated but the coater said he couldn't guarantee the electronics or parts inside if they can't be removed prior to coating.

Also, can the electronics or parts be removed? It looks like there are 2 pieces to the throttle body not including the plastic cylinder mounted to the side, does the cylinder come off?

Thanks.

OK, I'll take a wild stab at it!
"Coolant can run up to 220 degrees or more killing your performance as the throttle body gets boiling hot!!!"

The TB disassembles into several pieces. The throttle position sensor comes off of the pax. side and the throttle motor assembly will come off of the drivers side. The throttle motor itself can also removed from the cast alum. piece. All of the fasteners involved are tamper-resistant torx, so be ready for that. At that point the main body of the TB is electronics free. I havent taken the blade and throttle shaft out, but it cant be that hard. The nut is on the pax side end of the shaft.
