What happened? To me, it looks like he hit the end of the speed trap, and was pulling the chute to slow back down, and maybe it jerked the car too hard off axis? Or just taking his hand off the wheel was enough to put a front wheel into the salt and it made the car flip?
Can't really tell what happened.

"Hes in the hospital for observation and a compressed disc in his back from what i seen." dont know how to hot link pics of wrecked sled.   more info: George crashed Friday morning, 370 mph car turned sideways, and went airborne, It flew for almost 600 ft. landed and rolled and continued to crash for over a mile. George got out by himself, Ambulance carried him to SLC hospital for checks. Three compressed vertebra and all else is ok. |
