Default What a crappy thanksgiving week for me

I drove down with my wife on Thursday the 19th. After arriving at the hotel in Temecula, the following happens:

I go into work which is across the street from where I'm staying on Friday. Need to meet my manager and a few others on a project that I've been working on. No one is there. I spent some time talking with a few fellow workers, then left at 10:00am to see my daughter and grand kids.

On that Friday night, I start to get a headache and stiff neck. This lasted for almost 3 days.

On Tuesday night, I get up from the hotel to go to the bathroom at about 2am. I thought I was careful, but I end up hitting my little toe on the side of the bed post. SOB! I should have put ice on it, but I took my piss and went back to bed. In the morning, my little toe was black and blue. Hard to believe that my little toe prevented me from walking normally. Even now today, it's not 100%.

On turkey day, I ate too much. I felt like a beached whale, but enjoyed the family and friends that came over to my daughter's house.

My wife and I leave on Friday morning for the wonderful drive up north. We left early to avoid the L.A. traffic. We arrive home with no problems, but the next day on Saturday morning, I started to get a sore throat.

Sore throat continued into Sunday, but today the sore throat is almost gone. I was suppose to go back to work today on Monday, but now I have massive congestion with a runny nose so I spent the day getting some rest.

Anyone else get sick? I hate being sick since I don't have my spleen. It was removed back in the mid 80's. Takes longer to recover without your spleen.

Sorry you feel bad. Already had a cold about a month ago. And today, my truck takes a shit in the middle of traffic on the way home from work. Haven't had enough time to diagnose other than it is not getting fuel. Checked the fuse that has something to do with it, but it wasn't that. It ran rough a couple of seconds and died a sudden death. Some dickhead thought it would be polite to yell and tell me to push it out of the road. He missed the part where I pushed it until I couldn't. I would have loved to have whipped his ass for sport, but hey, I had more pressing matters like not dying. Finally got some help pushing it into a turning lane, then towed home.

I missed Christmas one year from a nasty cold, I must have looked as bad as I felt as nobody would come near me. Totally sucked as it was my vacation time also. Three days without leaving the bedroom.
Bed posts are made by the devil to destroy body parts the most painful way possible. Can't think of anyone I know doesn't have a broken toe story.

Sorry you are feeling bad. At least being down south you missed some nasty weather here. I had to take my wife down to Santa Rosa last Tuesday for a doctor's appointment then had to drive home through the monsoon that hit that afternoon.

I really think so. It stumbled for a few seconds at the light and was gone. No fuel pump noise either. Will start briefly with ether.

On the 2010 F150 that is a common problem and it is fuse 27. That was the first thing I checked once I got pushed into a turning lane, and got a cop in behind me. I swapped it with another 20 amp fuse, and no dice. That fuse did crap out earlier this year, however the truck never died on me, it just wouldn't restart when hot. The fuel pump is definitely not priming, or running though. I was literally stopped at a red light, the engine ran rough for about 5 seconds, and it was all over.
