Total of 17 lbs lost now since August and with access to a gym again I'm finally able to start hitting the weights. Feeling and looking better than I think I ever have.

225 for second day running. my goal is 3 more. one doc agrees, other doc says 210 i don't like him as much.

22 lbs lost so far this year.

Good to be back on the wagon, had some Halloween Candy and Cookies and it didn't hurt because I budgeted for them appropriately. Also baked some this past weekend and didn't hurt my progress.

Always learning more about how my body reacts to different things.

Feel pretty confident I can make it through Thanksgiving vacation without backtracking.

Had some leftover cranberry sauce and, since I absolutely hate to waste food, mixed it with some nonfat Greek yogurt for a snack. It was the sheit!

Smashed through that 200lb glass ceiling (or I suppose floor would be more accurate).

198.6 lbs this AM.



My 7 day average is at 201, so still a few more days of work to go to be solidly and safeily sub-200lbs.

it appears that my body has decided that it's comfy at 225 plus or minus 1.

i'm good with that.

Good news: I lost 30 lbs without trying between September and the 1 st of November.

Bad news: Went to the Doc and found out I am diabetic.

But, it could have been a helluva lot worse.
Controlled by pills, my glucose level has dropped over 200 points over a month.

Eating better than I ever have, feeling 100% better.

Thought I'd bring this back up for 2014, as it's been a great motivator for me and probably many others here. Will be nice to see folks post in here again and maybe get some new folks to join in as well.

For my part, I've pretty much stayed within 1-2 pounds...I overindulged on Christmas some and my GI system b!tch-slapped me for it won't be doing that again. Once you get to a certain point, your body just isn't used to getting crammed with too much food, and will most certainly let you know about it in a not-so-pleasant way.

That being said, just about all of the 'bad' foods are out of the house now and I'm back to my regularly scheduled program. Hope everyone has a healthy and happy 2014!

tipped scales at 224.0 today. started Dec at 224.5, ended Dec at 224.5.

look like my body has settled at 224 plus or minus about 1. i'm good with that.

figured i'd gain from yesterday's good food. dropped 0.5.

in 15 months: 291 to 224. just by changing what i ate.

Down 52# so far...Unreal that I have lost this much. I literally have no clothes that fit right any more. I have been having to go out and buy new slacks and shirts that fit now.

Slow but steady.

Getting close to 30 lbs lost (192).

Don't think I'm going to hit my original goal of 40 lbs in a year (started March 2013), but there's no time limit on losing weight and making your body better. Looking forward to a successful 2014.

Still making mine work. When I go to the bathroom during the day and undo my belt, my jeans instantly fall to my ankles. Pretty convenient.

Well, 2013 was a complete waist (pun). Here's to 2014, back to the gym, and back to a better diet. Also plan on doing a combined mileage of 1,000 miles just via exercise. Will see how it goes.

i use a spent 22 shell as a punch. only good for one hole, as the soft brass tends to bend. but it works.

i've settled at about 225, plus or minus 2 over the last 3 months. i'm good with that, and my doctors concur.

I am at 166 - I am shooting for 160 which should put me back in 30w pants. I am in 32s now and they will not stay on.

i'm 6-5, 38 waist and they are a little loose.

amazing what eating better can do. i haven't 'worked out', just walking every day with idiot doggie and eating better.
