What controls the power antenna when putting an aftermarket HU in a vert?
Considering swapping my HU from my Z to the vert... love the big buttons of the stock rado, hate the interface of single-DIN HUs, but I can't stand being w/o my XM radio. I'm not in to digital music (iPod etc.) and the stock radio stations are awful.
I want to set it up so the antenna only goes up when I'm listening to the radio, not when CD or XM is selected. Anyone have any ideas what controls the power antenna and how I could accomplish this?

I think I saw some people on CF were just installing and hiding a little switch in the middle console.

Yeah I think I remember that... it's a kill switch to cut power so it only operates when you want it on.
I guess the HU wouldn't hook up any differently than in a coupe/vert... I guess the power is allready in the harness that you hook the HU up to. |
