Peanut butter balls
The hand kneaded mix:
All rolled up: The dipping: All done: 1 stick + 1 tbsp margarine 1 box powdered sugar 2c of crunchy peanut butter (18 oz) 3c of Rice Krispies 8 oz Hersheys chocolate chips 1/2 block paraffin Melt chocolate/paraffin in double broiler. Hand knead the margarine/powdered sugar/peanut butter and Rice Krispies in a large bowl. Roll into balls on waxed paper. When chocolate is fully melted remove from heat. Dip peanut butter balls in chocolate and place on waxed paper.Place in air tight container with waxed paper between layers and place in refrigerator. That's it. It took us about an hour to make. |

Sounds really good, but I would mix in some high fiber cereal like All Bran or Grape Nuts, instead of all Rice Crispies, and leave out the wax. Dust them with cocoa powder to finish.
