EASY, it was the first election the media was about 100% on the side of LBJ and there was that sympathy vote for JFK.....and the Boddy influence....

add in the EMOTIONAL women vote, and it's over....easy...including the bacon....witness all the phony sympathy plays at the time....

SO we got LBJ....who got us into Viet Nam....something I thought was stupid at the time...early 60's....as in Uncle Barry Goldwater said 'we can NOT win a land war in asia'.......

now to extend that in to anothe statement to use nuky bombs to WIN such a war was a extention of the Do Mo Crap party and the MSM....in their pockets....

Had Uncle Barry won, the 2nd half of the last century would be totally different.....

and none of this present day bull**** would be a problem....well, ok I settle for maybe 70% reduction....
