Tomorrow is curry. Not that Indian crap either.

Have you tried the Japanese? Here’s everything you need to know and more. We usually do a pork tenderloin instead of chicken.

Both of my DIL are Asian. Both are serious cooks. Both are very petite and can eat like a 250 Lb man.

Part of the 1 pt deduction. No chasu (pork belly) or ajitsuke tamago (soy marinated soft boiled egg). But the white disky looking thing with a pink curly q is a fish cake (kamaboko) so I avoided a full 2 pt deduction.

Looks good. I'm pretty open to anything. My friend Dipthika makes homemade peasant Indian food, many dishes with curry and I love them. I would be happy to try the Japanese version as well.

I’m sure it is.
I never soft boil my eggs... I just crack two raw eggs directly into the piping hot broth. I’ve done it that way forever.. probably learned it from my mother.

Never thought of that. The marinated soft/medium boiled eggs are also game changers IMO. Made em a couple times. So good.

We do the raw egg thing for sukiyaki. Been thinking of making it. Looks easy enough. Watched my mom do it a hundred times. Need an electric skillet first.

The ramen I eat is called Maggi, an Indian noodle. The chit is good.
