Default Yom Kippur 2023
For those unaware, today is the Highest of Holy Days to a Jewish person.

On this day (actually two days) we ask for forgiveness of our sins, a Day of Atonement (similar to confession). But we get it done and over quicker!

We fast for 25 hours then "break" the fast with a huge feast afterwards. We don't drink or eat, not even water to brush your teeth. Most, that live the life go to synagogue and pray. These are also strictly followed, 1) eating or drinking; 2) bathing; 3) anointing the body with oil; 4) wearing leather shoes; and 5) sexual relations.

So wish me an easy fast, as we don't say have a good holiday on this day, it's not a celebration.
