I bought it in 2006 as a daily driver but began tracking it shortly after. Only daily drove it for a few years but kept it as a track toy since its soo good at that job. I stopped going to the track a couple years ago as I just wasn't enjoying it enough to be worth while anymore. The car is 100% healthy but just sits in my garage. I probably drive it once every five or six minths. The track seats make it a bit of a pain to get in and out of and the cam combined with the light flywheel and dual clutch require care to drive smoothly. But I still have it.

It would’ve been nice to know I needed a piston compressor too.

What for? C-clamp or woodworking clamp, with the MC cap off works.

Even easier, crack the bleed valve open and you can force the piston back easily with channel locks. I prefer to bleed dirty piston fluid anyway rather than push it back into the system.

FWIW, I have utilized YouTube dozens of times for projects and so far there has NEVER been a match for what I have or what I am doing, and what is in the video. It usually takes a couple or three combined videos to ultimately learn how to do it yourself with what you have.

FYI...I DESPISE videos that start with "Hey I'm Bill and I'm going to be showing you how to swap the headlight fixtures on a 2015 GMC Sierra. What we have here is my work truck. It's got some fogging on the lenses and blah bla blah". STFU and do the work !!

All videos should start with STEP 1.

I push it back only because I don't like bleeding brakes so I avoid any risk of opening the system, but you are right, that is much easier.

Plus, imagine the comedy that would happen if UD tried this. Brake fluid sprayed everywhere, then air in the system, then a call to AAA for free towing to his mechanic to bleed the air out of it. 500 posts worth at least.

Yeah, HRE are a kidney-selling mod, many good options at much less.

I still think, although not a weight reduction, the C6Z split five-spoke is a great look that will continue to endure.

Based on that, and he does like a challenge, he should go for it.

Or I spend $10 for the tool designed for it, thankfully harbor freight is four minutes up the road lol I’m on a first name basis now.

WTF, was spinning the wheel when I put it on and I heard something rubbing every rotation or so, it’s the brake cable, didn’t think I ****ed anything up so I looked at the other side, what the **** is this all about?

The one wire looks like it’s been rubbing for a while.
