Well there’s always a silver lining, now I know what tonight‘s story is going to be.

“Sometimes us writers get lucky and a story practically writes itself. Most of the time that’s just because we have creative juices in our brains firing on all cylinders, in today’s case, it was because of sheer stupidity.”

Parts in stock, now just have to figure out how to get 1.9 miles up the road the most efficiently. First step I’m going to bribe my stoner neighbor lol

It's so F'ing pathetic it's just comical.
He'd probably be better off asking his gf to swap-out wheels etc so he does't end-up in ER...or worst.

If I owned that property and drove-by veiwing some clown in shorts, sockless friggen loafers, utilizing boards taped together to support 3200+lbs with ZERO wheel chocks to boot, I evict both their ass's. Good gawd tall about a property owners nightmare!

And this guy hands-out advice to others on car mods installations, on a public forum?

I’ve done these before but not on a Corvette, hopefully it’s straightforward.
What you need to do is get your rotors turned and change the pads.

I said it on the 15k thread and I'll say it now: Spacers on wheel installs are a bad idea. I have seen MANY snapped studs, lost wheels, shredded quarter panels, and injuries over the decades. I woud'nt run them on anything over my dead body.
They are even worse than unilug wheels.

Spacers on car wheels are as lame as lift blocks on a truck suspension.

Doug is a professional. He limits his activities to those that aren't strictly necessary and will **** up an otherwise fine car. I say he gets in that .12 zone and breaks out the drill again.

And even more dangerous.

It's amazing how many people missed watching Tennessee Tuxedo as children. There, they would have learned all they ever needed to know about leverage, physics, gravity, and all the other pesky stuff that will bite you and put you in the ditch on your lid.

I wonder if they make steel- toed loafers? The drill-proof kind? Looking at those exposed ankles it's not a far stretch to see a drill going deep for the crimson. Especially if we are drilling while 'in the slot'.

What Doug needs to do is to go down to the local hardware store and pick up a large plastic rural mailbox, a gallon of Bondo, and some Krylon. Stick that mailbox dead center in the middle of the hood and feather the joints in with the Bondo. A little sanding and then hit it with the Krylon. Bitch would be badass with a Pro-style hood scoop on it and he could document the whole thing for his Youtube channel. Probably have offers to syndicate the whole show by weekend. Between the 40 hp he expects to see from the fart can exhaust and the "ram air", he would surely be putting out close to 600 hp.

Might take more than a .12 to pull it off correctly though. I'm thinking he dials it up and shoots for a .15.
