Very cool. I'd like to meet some of those people and hear their stories. I have told my son some stories of my teen years on the Jersey shore, he told someone at bowling the other night " my father provided us a great life, but I am jealous of the time he grew up in and the fun he had".

Maybe I sheltered them too much.

Was cruising a 61 Impala back then. Car was always loaded with people. Only thing fancy about the paint job was primer showing through where a date busted a wine bottle on the roof... Craziest biatch evar.

used to street race some of my old cars back in the 80s in philly. front street and in front of the old JFK stadium on tenth street on saturday nights. the cruise ins were epic. sadly i never thought to take video or pictures. i bet someone did.

Every small town around me in the '70s looked like that. It died out here in the '80s. I still remember all the shined up muscle and hot rods just cruising the main drag through town.
