But he kept on and on...I said the only time there was drama in this thread was when WEZ posted right after the super Ban...he started defending WEZ ‘s reasons...and would not shut up...I said part of the reason I left CFOT was I was sick of the drama, it appeared he was upset we would not agree with him. So now the only time there has been drama in this thread is when WEZ, then UD stirred it.

This is the way I saw it go down:

First, shit storms over there were perceived to be getting out of hand, so Savewave had a hissy fit, and banned at least 4 dozen posters whether or not they were involved in said shit storms. I'll call those 4 dozen posters collectively as "The Banned Group" (TBG)

Then, because a significant number of TBG were active members here, and some others were already members but not very active, in very short order, a majority of TBG formed back up over here. Most of the rest of TBG found out where we were, and within a week or so, basically the whole TBG was here.

Next, some shit storms started happening here, including one thread being boneyarded, which I understand is extremely rare here. As a result, three posters, namely WEZ, UD, and that SnikPlosskin guy, threw hissy fits and left.

Apparently that instant, the shit storms here stopped, and I haven't seen a one in well over a month. What can we conclude from all of this?

I agree.

But I also think that it was pretty easy to see who the shit stormers were over there. Their activities over here only served to remove all doubt.

Contrary to CFOT mods' beliefs, moderating out that problem is easy. Someone makes personal insults, they get escalating moderation until they either stop, or reach the perma level. Either way, the problem goes away, usually in short order.

For the most part it tells you where the trouble generated from or we are all assholes who only like each other. Either way I find it interesting we banter but We haven’t had major confrontations or drama except for the few who no longer post.
