Default Remove Great Stuff spray insulation foam.

I used this stuff yesterday and I got it on my hands. I cannot find ANYTHING that even begins to remove it.

Any ideas?

I've tried:
100% acetone
91% alcohol
PB blaster
WD 40
Purple Power
Dawn
Green Scotchbrite pad

Acetone has worked for me before it dries. Once it dries you'll have to scrub yourself raw to get it off.

Get an old school emery board (nail file) and file off as much as you can. Get as close to the skin as you can get and make the layer as thin as possible. You may have to use more than one emery board but don’t file your skin off. From there you should be able to use nail polish remover/acetone. Or if the layer is thin enough you can just peel it off.

This also works if you ever get superglue on your fingers.

Yeah, but the real problem is the OP didn't disclose that said hand is also connected to his Johnson.

I just spent about 20 minutes sanding my fingers with a sanding pad. I'm pretty sure I could be a burglar and leave no prints behind. A lot is gone, a lot is left. Even what's left is not at all affected by the acetone.

Note to self, wear gloves next time.

Like others have said, it will come off with time. Just be thankful you didn't get it on your clothes. I did, and it won't come off...EVER!

Oh but I did. They came up with this ingenious nozzle that loops back on itself and attaches to a pin plug so you can use it again without the straw clogging.

I went to "use it again" and pulled the wrong end loose. I proceeded to coat my door, clothes and patio with it. I was wiping it away quickly with my hand and...here I am asking how to get it off me.

Could have been worse

Here's a classic from the 4wd forums

How Do I Get Herculiner Off of My Hootus?!

https://www.explorerforum.com/forums...-hootus.18595/

Quote:
Okay, here's the "Abridged" version.

I can't bring myself to say the "short" version

Remember the "Carnage at 360" thread where it was revealed that yes I did indeed lay my pretty grocery-getter right down on its side and nearly flipped it? The quotes just for the doorskin replacement and paint job (Metallic Wedgewood Blue with Clearcoat, blahblahblah) was between $1500 - $2000. They would have to paint the entire side of the vehicle to feather in the color, then the clearcoat, plus buy the doorskin panels, then I'd have to get the graphics redone, etc.

I loved the look of some of your vehicles at Moab that had either Rhino-lined or Herculined your rocker panels/lower door skins. So I am saving mucho bucks and hiding my damage and paint destruction by Herculining my rocker panels over the carnage. Of course this stuff gets all over everything while you are applying it, including your hands.

Nature called during this project, proving the opportunity for whatever is on the hands to transfer to other body parts. Certainly you can now fill in the blanks in this story. I really don't want to get into the "long" version . Is that clear enough? Do you want pictures?
>
>
Nah, don't even go there.
>
>
Herculiner is thinned by Xylol(Xylene), which is between Acetone and MEK in strength. I have both Xylol and MEK. I am not particularly interested in washing in either of those substances, er, ah, well, there, if you know what I mean....

I hope you guys are having fun. I need a little help and sympathy here. [/S]

I'm gonna use Great Stuff insulating foam to make a cast of my junk. Can I just spray it down with Pam or WD-40 before I apply the foam in order to make removing the foam easier?

I hung a new door and I filled the gaps where the shims go with foam. Previously there was just air gap and the 1 inch sheet of foam they put on the outside of the house.
