I heard the San Joquine valley was pretty much run outta business because Ca. state was dumping all the water from some river run off into the Specific Ocean to save some fish that is not even a native to the region......snail darter???

that lake have enough water to do the SJ valley any good??

When the lake was filled (60's) there was two free launches built, one on the south fork (my side) & one on the north fork the rest are pay to launch. Through the years I've see the water up to the top, into the parking lot. Fun stuff is getting out of the water on the 4th of July! I've seen bumpers come off trucks, boats on the ground, it's taken several hours to get out the water Good times!

Sounds like the shituation on the St. Johns River here in the Jax region....even during the week, many boats all over the joint.....boathouses/marinas all over the shorelines, Alley Gators or not, it's a zoo out there......even in the swamps.....

Ok, yeah I can see the water/tree line being closer to the top.

I've seen the lake at all different levels. The last two years it's been empty because of the eminent damn break 2yrs ago and subsequent repair when they evacuated the entire city of Oroville (our place is above the lake so no big deal). Lake Oroville is built and designed to feed water to L.A. I've been playing on/fishing the lake since the early 70's. When it's low like it was it sucks balls because there's no access unless you billygoat to the shoreline so seeing it back up and access is pretty awesome! Our place is only 2 miles from the water when its up so heading down there is super convenient to fish or cool off on a hot summer day
