Google has never put an Easter doodle up (at least in the last 5 years), or a Passover Doodle or anything else really religious for that matter... and every year, people get all surprised and amazed. Like clockwork.

This year is a bit worse though because they happened to honor somebody with the same last name as a recently-deceased dictator.

Every year the same people say how they're going to "boycott" google, "switch" to Bing and move off of Gmail based on what Google does or doesn't do with their logo on some given observance day.

Well, their headquarters is in the silicon valley. I went to public school in California. I learned a lot more about Ceasar Chavez than I did about Easter.

Agreed. It's their dumbass logo, they can put any dumbass on it they want...
