We're getting ready for another big storm on Tuesday. There will probably be a little flooding along the shoreline of the lake. But our new saying here is, it beats being on fire.

Some areas certainly have that problem. Even with all the fires, the soil up north here is pretty stable. Lots of clay which doesn't soak up too much water. Also they have done a pretty intensive job of reseeding burned areas and things are already green. There will be some small slides here and there, but they generally get right on it and keep roads clear as well as can be expected.

Weather's been stoopid here lately... set a new record high of 86 yesterday, it was 55 when i woke up this morning. I don't think we broke 70 today with heavy overcast and dense fog at present. We still got paint on three sides of the well house though before it sprinkled.

It's been raining here in PA today AGAIN.

Third wettest year on record last year and not starting out much better this year. My yard is a big wet swampy, muddy mess. I'll be lucky if my grass doesn't drown.

Yep. That's why we worked outside today and saved laundry and cleaning for tomorrow. I really need to wash my truck though since Ford is sending nasty notes weekly because they insist on replacing my airbags.... AGAIN... and it looks like a junkyard refugee since my dirt driveway looks like the sippy hole at the mud races in Naples. If this keeps up I'll need a kayak to go check the friggin' mail!

We did steal it. You haven't noticed it gone? Forecast says tornadoes tomorrow for the path of the storm. Fortunately we have a decoy trailer park a mile or so from here.

Yeah man
We're at the top of a newer development with excellent drainage and sink 2-3" into our yard when we cut across to get Natalie from the school bus.

Almost glad I sold the boat since there was not but maybe 1 weekend all year we could have taken her out up here.
