Hell of a job not killing anyone in cars, or the three passengers.
He was about 3 miles out from airport, had no glide time left.
Pilot had radioed that the aircraft had had a dual engine failure.
NTSB can take up to 12 months to issue report.

There is just not much rural land in many aeras in FLA now and the major highway arteries stay packed. Trying to touch down outside of an airstrip in an emergency is a huge risk at this point.

My guess is fuel, but it will be interesting to see what the FAA can determine.

Comments have been that the fireball, with black smoke, indicated that fuel wasn't the issue. Dual engine failure is nearly never going to happen, so your mileage may vary.

I thought I saw a video where the black smoke went away pretty quick. Also, if it had a bunch of fuel which should be onboard, I'd be surprised if anyone could survive it.
