The feature I hate about it is the rain-sensing wipers. At a drizzle, it'll go to max speed if I'm on the highway.
No rain sensing feature in my 18 (2500 with Cummins 6.7L). Sirius and GPS all require a subscription. I think it's 500 for a lifetime subscription, but I'm not paying for something I can already get on my phone (no ads with pandora) and use google maps when connected via Uconnect. there are some temp controls below the head unit, but they don't control everything.

As soon as I can unload Das Boat I will trade in the RAM and get back into another Vette which will be a C8 this time. Won't happen any time soon with Brandon and crew going out of their way to royally **** up gas prices.

I have the exact same truck as Stangkiller, it seems, and haven't had any head unit delamination issues.
Is your truck seeing more months in 80deg+ temps than cooler weather? It's a problem mostly in the higher temps.

2020 Ram Limited 5.7 e-torque.

Does this e-torque system provide power steering?

One of my big peeves with auto stop/start is that when the engine is off, power steering is off too. Before disabling auto stop/start, I was stopped at a light and needed to get out of my lane ASAP and needed to steer out of the lane as top priority but the wheel wouldn't turn until the engine was running. Created a dangerous situation.

So the e-torque is a small 13ish horsepower alternator/motor thats on the front of the engine, if the truck needs power/needs to get started that alternator kicks on and spins the engine and accessories up. So i haven't noticed any lack of PS, i do notice when the compressor kicks off during the summer, but the engine will kick on for the compressor automatically if the AC calls for it.

My Fusion has every option but adaptive cruise control and parking assist. It has lane assist and it's actually pretty good as long as the lines on the road are pretty good too.

The one thing is I notice it looses sensitivity if the car is dirty. I proved my theory one time when the car was nasty I took some paper towels and cleaned all the sensors only and the camera port in front of the rear view mirror really well. It was a lot better after cleaning them.

It's configurable so I can turn the intensity down and also turn off the "stick shaker" (for us pilot types). I leave that off as it's annoying. I like to sneak it back on when the wife drives, it freaks her out. LoL. It will keep you in the lanes really good on interstates but if you let it "drive" it will get you pulled over in a heart beat thinking your a drunk driver. So it's as good as if you were plastered.

After about 30 seconds on you not having your hands on the wheel it will chime and tell you to put your hands on the wheel on the dash. It also has the fatigued driver feature and will tell you to stop and rest if it senses you falling asleep. It's caught me a couple of times. I really like that.

The center console in my Suburban. They trick you into using it as a place to set things, then they spring load the lid so that when I try to access the things inside, all of the stuff sitting on top of the lid is yeeted into the passenger seat, and beyond.

There are ways to fix a few of these bugs.

A few years ago, I bought my little brother and dad both a HI POINT .45 at the Ft. Hood PX for $150/ea. Never jammed, but it is heavy and very bulky.

Anyway, mom and dad changed their wills and I get all of the guns except for Dad's HI POINT.

Remember that scene in blazing saddles where the sheriff is telling the town folk that the chinese, blacks, irish etc will help them if they each get a plot of land? "We'll take the n*****s and the chinks, but we don't want the Irish."

Dad was asking me about the guns and all I could come up with was, "I'll take the rifles, shotguns, and all the hand guns, but I don't want the HI POINT." Dad about fell out of his chair.

Actually, little bro has pissed dad off so bad over the years that dad says he only deserves the Hi Point

Most of the "convenience" features on my newish Mazda CX-5 are pretty helpful, but the way they implemented remote start makes me SMH. No way for using remote start from the fob, only via their phone app and a paid subscription (after the free 12-mo trial). After the car is started remotely, it runs until one of the doors is opened, then cuts off and sends a "remote start fail" message to your phone. Craziness....

My parents have a CX-5. the cup holders are in such an awkward place and it annoys me to no end.

Alot of cars seem to have short cup holders just tall enough to give the illusion a cup may actually stay in sitting still, any turning and off it goes.

YESSSSS! I just automatically reach for the cup holder every time I turn, even when I don't have a cup!

At least we have cupholders now. In my parent's cars, the "cupholders" were dimples in the glove box door.

That's a problem, too. but the ones in the CX-5 are located almost where your elbow would be on the arm rest. Really awkward.

Speaking of that, does this cup holder discussion remind anyone else of DCV?
