It's Voting Day in Tejas!

Just voted, there were a couple of city council positions and a couple of school board seats up. Only one person was wearing a mask, none of the poll workers were wearing masks, and there was none of that bs plexiglass.

I voted with my neighbors, the wife works for a hospital. She said even there the Wu flu panic has abated. Only about 20 Wu flu pt's, and none on vents, virtually all of them discharged out the front as opposed to being carted out the back.

Since our mask ban ended in March, I've only been asked about a mask once, and that was at the bank, after I'd already been sitting in a banker's office for a while. She said someone had said something. She was apologetic and asked if I'd put it on. I did.

Why does that customer's request trump your right to not wear a mask?

I gathered it was from the boss, the branch manager, not from a customer.

I think the masks are just theater, and if it was some random customer, I'd tell that person to F off in some manner, depending on how they approached me, but I believe in private property rights, and if the property owner, or owner's representative asks for it, I'll either leave, or put it on. I needed to finish my business, which I was almost done with. As soon as I got what I needed, I took it off to walk out.
