Default Cleveland/Akron area, where to stay?
Never been there, well once driving through stopped at Fridays for a quick bite. Walked past the Music Hall of Fame and left.....I'm traveling out the area on business next week, looking for references on a nice place to stay? Three nights, just me. I do prefer a luxury place.....but not going full tilt on the Ritz....

Don't listen to them. There is nothing wrong with Cleveland. It's a typical Midwest rustbelt town.
My son played lacrosse for Cleveland State for 4 years so I know the town pretty well. If you want to be downtown and near the R&R HOF stay at the Hilton Downtown or Doubletree Downtown. Both walking distance to the R&R HOF and other hot spots and are nice.

IF the area has not gone to hell, the far west side is the place to go, it was a decent, clean region years ago, but certainly it's further west NOW than the old area I used to know.....

Beachwood might be nice? I mean, my peoples are there.....?

Shaker Heights area???

Joking of course, I just like the luxury joints while traveling. Prices seem to be reasonable too. The company is paying half the travel expenses, so this too has me considering a pricier hotel.
