Since I'm complaining about food I'll tell you something else that bugs the shit outta me; food worriers. You know the type. There'll be a get together of some sort, like the retirement party I attended yesterday. There's always that guy that's first in line worried that he's not gotta get his share. It wouldn't be quite so bad if he contributed periodically buy he NEVER does. But there he is always the first in line.

Another thing that bugs the shit outta me is the nosy coworker. I'll heat up some slop in the microwave and sure enough some douchepail is standing over my shoulder; "Smells good. Whatcha havin'?" Nevermind what I'm having you disgusting fatbody. Get your bulk outta my cube.

I could go on and on here but I'll end with this one. Spaghetti. My fathers family is from Sicily. His father (my grandfather) immigrated from Sicily in the early 1900s, established himself here in America then went back and brought his wife and kids back and had two more rug rats. My dad being one of them.

Anyway, my grandmother didn't speak a lick of english but she taught my mom -who is 100% Irish- how to make all these italian dishes which naturally included spaghetti.

To this day I can't eat ANYONES spaghetti but my mothers. My sister tries but I wanna puke this shit up on her kitchen floor. And forget restaurant spaghetti. I wouldn't feed that shit to the neighbor's cat. It's the one dish I'll probably never have again when my mom passes.

Most restaurants in Japan don’t use disposable wooden chopsticks.

The pic above with breadstick chopsticks is called “cacio e pepe”, which is Italian and literally translates to “cheese and pepper”. It is the original mac n cheese, originally from Rome no less.
