Absolutely.... I've had so many contact buzzes suprised my brain isn't mush. Don't anyone dare comment on that statement.

I was helping a guy paint his car decades ago and he didn't have any fresh air coming through the garage and he didn't take breaks outside.
He called ralph for half an hr and was sick for a day or two. Me I was standing outside most of the time. Paint turned put like hell as he was wasted and couldn't see after 1st coat I figure.

Morning Jim, just settled with the insurance company and waiting on the check. I had a car in Greensboro that I found that had the parts that I needed but that was a few weeks back. Hopefully it’s still there.

So much work to do on the vette.


What order should this shit show go down? Any of you experts want to offer a hour time to complete? Shop here charged me 24 shop hours to install brakes/vintage air (only to firewall), tape measure alignment and install new MC. 🙄

Install hood/decklid/doors/wipers/wiper door/headlights/all exterior lights/bumpers/enblems/door hardware

All dash/gauge cluster/vintage air stuff from firewall back, entire interior including carpet/new radio and speakers/3 door rear compartment

Also need to do final buff/paint correction on body. Doors/hood/decklid look like glass).

Also need to put original steering column back in as he had changed to 77 and mounts not lining up so ordered new (used one) and sand blasted today. Will prime and paint tomorrow.

Imo do the interior work as needs to be complete to make sure lights, etc work when those get done.
Carpet and seats can wait until last so they stay clean don't get damaged nor in the way.
Body parts get put on last, they get in the way otherwise.

Of course there's always an exception such as if an emblem needs inside access to be put on.

As for hrs... Alot.
Wiring, lights, radio, etc will burn up a lot of hours getting done.
