But he didn't accomplish all that much, and turned his presidency over to Fauci and Pence in March 2020 which ended it, and didn't invoke The Insurrection Act of 1803(?) to stop the riots. It's very short, to the point, and absolutely applied to the goings-on during the summer of 2020.

He was the right person at the right time but I think that era has passed, his narcissism is more important than actually doing anything positive now. In 2015-16 he attacked fellow Republicans from the right and that's how he beat all of them in the primaries. And now, as he continues moving to the left, he attacks fellow Republicans from the left. He's lost his mojo.

At any rate, there isn't any one man or one election that's going to turn things around if that's even possible at this late time (which I don't think it is). The left has been at work here for nearly a century and owns every important institution.

The left thinks in generations, the right thinks in election cycles. Who's winning?

This certainly applies to Trump, who doesn't really have any world view and never did:

I think I had those woodpecker decals on the rear side windows of my new '68 Camaro.

The mooneye decals were a thing back then too. I didn't have those decals, but I did have baby moons on the above car.

I got mine from the late, great, Ill Duce, and it's a pic of Warren Oates, one of the alltime great American actors, in character as "GTO" in the 1971 Release, Two Lane Blacktop. He's a washed-up, middle aged, pathological liar in the middle of a huge mental breakdown in a cross country race against 2 musicians in a clapped out '55 Chevy. What could be better?
