Mrs. Mick got home, and says it maybe even looks a little better than this morning. She is no longer convinced of cellulitis. I think it is a strain in an area of my foot where I am prone to such things, but I only started taking Ibuprofen for it yesterday, so if that is what it is, it should be starting to take effect now. But in general, it does look a lot like my other foot looked last year at the beginning of the infection.

Urgent care looks like it is an option, if I call ahead, and there aren't too many COVID patients there at the time. The infectious disease specialist I saw last year is supposed to be opening his office on Monday 6/1, he has made time for me if I need to see him, it's kind of his thing.

The call at this time: I have some Amoxicillin which is what knocked out the cellulitis last time, so I took some. I will keep taking the ibuprofen and the Amoxicillin and see what Monday looks like. Obviously, if it blows up today or tomorrow, I will have to try my luck at the Urgent Care route.

Getting old sucks, but it's better than the alternative.
