To be on the safe side, I'd stick with clear liquor, gin or vodka with clear mixers. I had several gin and tonics before mine.

Not true. Some people tolerate a little discomfort and for some it's screaming you head off painful.
I'm one of those peeps that was in so much pain and screaming they injected me half way through to knock me out and shut me up!

When I awakened, it wasn't a smooth transaction. The nurse proceeding to show me the pics of the exam. I didn't know WTF I was looking at, so I asked what was on the screen. She muttered some medical gibberish, so I said, "Whut?".

She said, "It's your asshole."
