Oh shit, he'll need more than that. Try one of these. It took nearly a week for crews to remove that, and traffic in my 'hood was nearly non-existent during all that time.

Why didn't you help and also replenish your stock of stolen rocks at the same time?

This ain't Floriduh. There is no shortage of rocks anywhere, and at far closer and easier to access locales.

Do me a favor and place them in the opposing lanes. That will keep my roads safe from all you blue hairs.

Sorry. My experience has been with dogs crapping on my lawn. I know how to fix that and it involves bacon grease.

I feel bad for Kingpin in this situation. That dog is probably that old woman's best friend. And I know he doesn't want to hurt the dog or the old woman. At the same time, Wendell is only defending what he perceives to be his territory. And rightfully so. Jack Russells are fearless.

I agree, which leaves the only solution of Mr Kingpin fencing his yard or taking Wendel out on a leash.

Relax, the old woman is probably seriously ill, and an incorrigible hoarder. She'll likely die soon.

We have driveway alligators - but some dogs are too smart for them to be effective:

Some dog owners are just complete attention seeking @holes.....some Bubba-azz MF sitting at an outdoor table at McDonald's one day had his pit bull laying literally across the sliding door entrance to the point you had to step across the beast to enter the store. When I gave the jerkoff "the look" he said, "He won't bite".....I put my hand in my pocket on the grip of my Ruger LCR and replied "I guarantee he won't bite twice" - Never saw the dog or its clown owner again.

I have a similar problem. Neighbor two houses down lets his Labradoodle and small Pit run the neighborhood. I personally dont have a problem with it because my dogs get along great with them and will run and play in my yard. Unfortunately, his dogs are cat killers and many of the neighbors are complaining. This has been going on for OVER two years with nothing being done. While I have not registered a complaint, I know some of the neighbors have to no avail.

So, apparently, there is nothing that can be done without hurting the dog who is not at fault.

On another note....I see Im still living rent free in some one's head....

On a serious note, consider this. Look at it for an opportunity to train your dog, as well as hers.

I had a 21# rat terrier, fearless, and her behavior around larger dogs was very predictable. She was very tolerant up to a point, then would give a sharp warning bark. She never bit another dog, projected dominance in spite of her size, and learned to control the situation in other ways.

Your dog shouldn't bite another dog, defensive or otherwise. That type of behavior could manifest itself into biting a human, and that usually ends up badly, for the dog.

So next time the neighbor dog comes over, I suggest that you take the lead and initiate a friendship. Friendly tone of voice, ear scratching, petting its head and back of the neck. For both dogs, project dominance, and adopt a strict tone to correct any misbehavior. Offer water, and perhaps a treat to reward good behavior.

I think that when your dog sees the neighbor as less of a threat that are far more likely to get along. You have the opportunity to turn this annoyance into a pleasant daily experience.

Call animal control, give them the backstory and see what they say. I’ve been down this path and talking to the old lady didn’t resolve anything. A fine from the city and a warning they were going to take away and destroy her dog finally got the message across. I did not want to take matters into my own hands and get hit with animal cruelty charges, but it was so bad I carried when we’d go down to the beach.
