Weird Noise from Clutch
Ok so I recently heard some weird noise from my clutch. It doesnt happen all the time and only when dis-engaging from from a stop in 1st gear. I have a stg 3 monster clutch had it close to 5k miles the minimal chatter is gone but this noise is really weird and audible form the outside as well as inside...its hard to describe its not metallic, doesnt happen all the time kinda seems to happen when it catches a certain spot in the rotation..other then the weird noise the clutch seems fine. Doesnt feel as if its slippin at all shifts are fine jsut the initial take off 1st gear ...any ideas?

Emailed Monster this was the reply....
Shawn, This is caused by a glaze build up on the disc which is caused by excessive slipping during normal daily driving. Take the car out and dump the clutch at a higher rpm a few times to "knock" off that glaze on the disc. This is common for ceramic clutches, there isn't anything wrong with it, just a glaze build up. Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you

You should probably do those high rpm clutch dumps a few times a week!
