I don't get into these shows, but the wife wanted to watch it, and I must say Ricky was spot on with this comment:

The ratings on these pat your self on the back liberals award shows were so far in the gutter over the last year that....

Whatever Ricky needed to say, was said, and quickly before everyone tuned out.

There still were some that did their rants, and mere appearance of De Niro and others was repulsive enough and channel changer in and of itself.

Same. I've heard of the Oscars and the Academy awards though, but I don't watch any of that shit. Not sure what the difference is between any of them. Don't really care.

Haven't watched commercial television in about 15 years, but even when I did I never paid attention to shit like this.

Not even sure who Ricky G is but what he said was spot on. I can never understand why anyone pays any attention to what these people have to say.

Aren't the Oscars and the Academy awards the same thing? For movie actors? I believe the Grammys are for music, and the Tonys are for stage acting. The rest is a mystery to me.

And I think Emmy's are for TV?

So what the **** are the Golden Globes then?

I have no clue. I don't follow any movie or tv 'stars' and even when I watch shit on Netflix or movies I don't invest much in the shows I watch. I can watch an entire series of a tv show and not know the names of the main characters.
