I was surprised to learn they don’t tell you what variant you have. The results are just positive or negative. I’m not vaccinated BTW.

That's because they don't know. Takes a much more complex test for that. Generally this test can't tell between the flu & covid anyway. Most of the time it's wrong anyway.

So right there you contradicted yourself. If you started feeling sick on sat and Sunday your work didnt even know you were ill. If everyone would stop with the bullshit hysteria and just treat this shit like every other "flu" maybe we could get on with our lives again.

Like I said, I have felt like I have a cold with head and chest congestion for the last two days. Been taking Mucinex and doing fine. Had chills one night but now feel fine except for minor congestion. My work doesn't know about it, Im not telling em about it, and Im going in tomorrow as usual. Even if this is the Rona, it's so mild that Im not worried about it.

Just stop it folks....stop being such damn sheep....

Okay, I don't know what you do, or how important it is to go to work, but if you're sick, stay the **** at home. I'm totally against the CV narrative, but if you're sick FFS stay at home and don't expose folks to your sickness. Whether it's CV, regular flu, or other disease, just get over it and don't expose others.

Contradicted myself? Huh?

Listen slick.Corona or no Corona if I’m not feeling well I’m not bringing that shit in to my tight office environment. I’ve got 7 weeks of ****in’ PTO. The last thing I’m worried about is using two days. Furthermore, if my company allows me to work remote why wouldn’t I? Oh that’s right. Sheep.

So...just take the PTO and forget about about the test slick....you play right into their hands just like the rest of the sheep....

I am over being sick.....and even if I weren't 100%....the sooner every one gets this bull shit the sooner we can put it behind us.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/omicron-m...202827761.html

".....Scientists are seeing signals that COVID-19′s alarming omicron wave may have peaked in Britain and is about to do the same in the U.S., at which point cases may start dropping off dramatically.

The reason: The variant has proved so wildly contagious that it may already be running out of people to infect, just a month and a half after it was first detected in South Africa......."

Pretty sure the Wuflu has run through my office the last 2 or 3 weeks.

There are 5 (sometimes 6) of us on our floor.

The saleshole (who has no real need to even come in on a good day) is always sick and coughing. I told my wife two years ago that if I get it, it will be from him. He's done ZERO mitigation efforts since day 1.
A second guy was sick before Christmas, but came in every day.

I took 10 days off between Christmas and New Years, and when I came back, the CSR was out sick, and pissed at the other two guys.
She same back in the office after a day, and three days later tested positive.
Same day, Typhoid Mary tested positive.
Then another.
Two never missed a day of work.
One missed one day (Monday after testing positive on Friday)
One was berated into working from home for three days before testing positive.

All of them are still symptomatic, and here.

Two people have avoided it (or at least been asymptomatic).

I'm not sure how getting a test is playing into their hands but OK.

Lemme try explaining this to you without crayons. Let's say I call in; "Hi, it's Giraffe. I'm taking a PTO day." Then the next day I call in again and say "Hi, it's Giraffe again. I'm taking another PTO day." Then the third day I return to work sneezing and hacking all over the ****in' department. If my coworkers don't string me up my supervisor will send me home.

Or, you can choose to stay home, keep the shit out of the office and work remote for a couple weeks without using any additional PTO. That's not being a sheep, that's being smart.

And who's 'their?'

By all the sheep insisting on getting tested every time you have a wet fart, you are playing into the govt's hands by giving them a chance to blow out the statistics. This is not now a serious enough virus to warrant all this govt intervention. You sheep are giving them the numbers they need to keep it going even though it as declined to nothing more than a slight cold or flu. Even at its worst it had over a 98% survival rate.

But hey....at least you got the mandatory 5 days off with pay....nice move...

If I get sick, I'm getting a test. Why? Because if it comes back positive, and I'm part of the 99.98% of folks who survive the illness, I will use that to more emphatically flip the bird at the assholes who want me to inject experimental poison juice into my veins.

If I get sick, I'll get the test because it is the difference between driving an hour each way to work, and working from home.

If I have Covid, I get to stay home. No showers, laundry, figuring out what's for lunch, buying gas, traffic, etc.

PLUS, any test I do is for our own research and does not contribute to any statistics for Pope Fauci or the Center for Democrat Control.

Borrowed from CFOT...

From Tom Woods e-letter:

Rasmussen just reported the following:

-- 59% of Democrats favor forcing the unvaccinated to stay home at all times except for emergencies.

-- 55% of Democrats favor levying state or federal fines on people who decline the shot.

-- 48% of Democrats favor fines or imprisonment for people who publicly question vaccine efficacy.

-- 47% of Democrats favor a government tracking program to people who decline the shot.

-- 45% of Democrats support temporary relocation to "designated facilities or locations" for those who decline the shot.

-- 29% of Democrats favor temporarily removing your custody of your children if you decline the shot.

That's pretty twisted.

Not to mention that none of that has any connection to "public health," since the vaccinated are also spreading the virus. (The recent outbreak among vaccinated scientists in Antarctica really took the cake.)

This is punishment of the noncompliant.

No wonder the idea of "national divorce" is trending. Who would want to share a country with people so hateful and irrational?

We need to split the US. Red States/Blue states. Allow 1 year to relocate to the color of your choice.

Realize that for those of us who have indeed declined the shot, as we walk around in our day-to-day lives we are coming into contact with people who would track us, confine us, imprison us for questioning vaccine efficacy (so vaccine efficacy is something we know a priori?), or take our children away.

You see why it might be helpful to have a lifeline to normal, intelligent, supportive people?

If not now, when?
Well that just screams communism/fascism one of those ism's now doesn't it.
And yes that's some narrow minded twisted shit.
