Another member reached out to me to let me know he was thinking about me and wondered why I disappeared for a bit. I appreciated that.

Partly due to hitting 50% of sales goal for the year in week one. But partly because another member who shall remain nameless gave me some personal feedback (which I welcomed) that caused me to pause and look inward to see if his scathing assessment of me might be true.

Besides doubting my entire life story, he felt I “lacked humility” and that he thinks I’m “an ass”.

I was taken aback because I’ve always like this guy and have always been supportive of him when he was struggling.

Worst of all, he thought my health challenges were invented. (I wish).

He doesn’t believe I have run and owned successful businesses or that I raise and train GSDs.

I’m a pretty down to earth guy if you know me and there are times I am tone deaf as to how others perceive me so I wanted to give his opinion some thought.

I’ve thought about it. In subsequent posts I will share my insights and conclusions as well as the entire sordid story. This person won’t be named but you can be the ultimate judge of who, exactly, is an ass.

He sent me two more messages which I have not bothered to read and likely won’t because of the sheer negativity displayed.

I’m tired now. Crazy ****ing diseases trying to kill you has that effect sometimes.

Good to see you back

As far as "that guy", some folks just don't see things the same way as the folks who are actually living them. If the constructive criticism helps you, pay attention. If not, it's just water off a duck's back.

Hey, Good to see you are doing well, financially.. Hope the illness is taken under control without drama..
Raising and training GSDs is a serious time consumer, and I applaud that. I can barely walk my 3 year old lab/pit mix. Crazy puppy..
