Default Another child dies

Another child died in a hot car in Kansas yesterday,I have been thinking of a way to alarm parents when a child is left and here is what I came up with,I'd like to mount a motion sensor in the dome light that would be activated when the ignition key is off and the rear seat belts are latched.not sure if there is such a thing as a noise alarm or not .what you guys think?

I have my doubts any of these were accidental. I call BS. Maybe not intentional murder. But just too lazy to take the child out of the vehicle while doing some errand and then make up a lie to cover themselves.

You know, when I was a kid, and kids weren't tied down with seat belts and car seats, and rode in the front seat, I don't remember this kind of thing happening. I also don't remember parents being accused of abuse if they left the windows down with their kid in the car while they ran an errand. I mean, it probably was slightly hotter in the car with all the windows open, but not a call-the-cops event.

I still have a hard time understanding how one can be so brain-dead that they "forget" that their child is in the car. And I'm hard put to have any sympathy for the parent that does.

I spent a significant portion of my youth waiting in the car while one or both parents shopped. We all did. Nothing bad happened to any of us. I suppose those days are gone forever, though.

Same here.. and I stayed in the car many times.

Also all the windows were easy to roll down at anytime.

But babies are another story, they should never be left in a car unless just for a few moments only.

I wouldn't expect someone to get the kid out of they are just stepping out to grab the mail from the roadside mailbox.

In a related story, a midget psychic escaped from jail.

The police are looking for a small medium at large.

I damned sure did too. Sometimes it got hot enough that we'd open one or more of the doors a little bit and move to the side that was out of the sun.

Somehow, we survived.

I blame rear facing car seats...

In my day, Your car seat was mounted dead ass middle in the back, so momma could reach around and slap the shit out of me.

i also blame alcohol, drugs, excessive use of prescription meds, cell phones, and people not using condoms...

Too much trouble...

Mom kept me up front so she could jab me with an elbow, or slap the dog piss outta me without having to turn around.

And she always made me wear a seat belt so I couldn't get away..

We do not new any new laws or posters. It's not rear facing child seats that are the problem.
The problem rests on the shoulders of these so called parents. How in the hell do you forget your child is in the back seat??
Everyone of these "parents" should be tried for 1st degree murder.

they forget because of the sense of entitlement they developed from stupid parents that didn't keep score at little league games , that gave trophies for participating etc.
