It took roughly 20 years for the progressives to devise salient talking points to rebut the success of the Reagan years. 20 years. I will hand it to them, they know how to slice and dice facts. Thing is, many of us were alive then, and alive during Carter's term, and Clinton's and both Bush's too. So that makes it a bit harder on them. But really they don't care much about anybody who has already figured out that they are completely full of shit. They have various facts that mean nothing in and of themselves other than building a narrative to explain why something that worked didn't and something that can't work will.

Take a look at all the damage since 1965.

Education levels went from being one of the best in the world to lagging behind most of the industrialized world.

Single mother house holds have skyrocketed.

Individual saving rate have plummeted.

Government regulation has gone from benign to malignant.

We've moved from a Country that had "Ask not what your country can do for you, Ask what you can do for your country" to "Redistribution" and "You did not build that"

Do the left really care that their polices are the root cause of the root cause of this problem? No. They WANT the system inequitable so they can demand the government step in a "Fix" the problem they created.

If you do not have kids you cannot afford, Stay in school, Save regularly, Avoid abuse of Drugs and Alcohol and live within your means you have a high probability of increasing your wealth and income. How many of those falling behind have followed this simple guideline?
