Most all the degrees Liberty offers would only require that class as part of the curriculum, but not pertaining to the student's field of study and actual degree. For instance, an accounting degree won't be a "lie" if they teach creationism vs evolution in a sophomore level science class.

Any degree that require science classes where they teach creationism should not be accredited.

It's not the religious elements that are at issue here. Nor is it the idea one is teaching so called 'alternative interpretations' of scientific evidence.

The issue is teaching false information. The issue is distorting the basis of evolution theory in order to then claim, the evidence isn't solid.

The course is mandatory for all students attending the "university". Thus the comments by Maher are accurate.
