You are missing the upside of a Trump candidacy.

Allow me: If Trump runs...he will force the other GOP candidates to become more transparent. It's what most want from all politicians. If Trump can keep the numbers...he will be in the GOP debates...Will it be a bit of a pony show...yes. BUT, he will force transparency and the candidates WILL have to respond to questions they would rather avoid.

Trump can do this because he don't GAF. He owes no political favors. Boy has his own dough.

I see your points and while I think they have merit, I think Trump has a real credibility gap.

Republicans to need to put people up who are serious, intelligent leaders, not hair-spray endorsers.

He'd be perfect; as many times as he's flirted with bankruptcy and his reliance on OPM, hell, he probably knows a trick or two.
