Default Finished one of my gas pumps
This is the first one. It is a Gilbarco 1952 model 996. I did this one in Texaco Skychief. My next one to do will be a red and white Texaco Firechief.

When I started looking at the pictures, I thought that's a good starting base.

It turned out fantastic and was glad to see the correct style vintage nozzle on it.

What is interesting about that to me is that I recall my parents buying a new 1970 Mustang and gas was 32 cents. So in 18 years, it changed by 3 cents. Think about what gas today, versus 18 years ago is. $1.14 vs $2.14

Was 3 cents in 1970 worth a dollar in today's money?
