For all you who think the pain isn't real... That's a day or so of pollen build up.

MIL had a partial knee replacement at 7am this morning. Already done and awake. Seems it was a complete success. Good as her knee was horrible and she was in constant pain. Being 80 and not mobile isn't good, few days in rehab and she should be home and out of the wheelchair again.
Of course the knee gave out last week and she cracked her skull on bathtub. She falls constantly in bathroom even with grab bars all over.
Anybody ever know somebody who falls horribly... She does.
She thought it was a joke but many years ago I told her goto karate or gymnastics place and learn how to fall.

Worst year was about 15 years ago. Hit 90 almost 100 during pollen season. Zero wind nor rain for weeks. Then a storm front came through, you could see tire tracks in road. Wipers had to be used and it was pollen foggy blowed so much.
Then is was a deluge... The pollen scum that ran off was staggering.
Next day it was like a cloud had been lifted and skies were Carolina blue and 70.
It's almost that bad this year.

Too cold, no heat in the garage, maybe tomorrow.
Different brand, new MC arrives today.
I was wondering if maybe the booster push rod was too long,
but I never noticed brake drag. Maybe I loaded the MC slightly, allowing air to get into system. No fluid loss, Checked all hoses, no collapsing found.
Check valve into booster works are described. Haven't tried driving with vacuum hose off booster because I couldn't pump pressure back up without
manually bleeding the entire system.
I'll measure push rod once I take the MC off Tuesday or Wednesday.

@MikeB we just bled the brakes on a wildwood system for a 69 camaro.

we made a power bleeder with a 1 gal Ace hardware garden sprayer. worked perfect!!! PS, didn't have a gauge on sprayer

Seems like a lot of work. (I do have that style pump from Ace for weeds)

I bought a Motive brand pump, with a rectangular plate to fit over the
old style 2 port MC. Works real good.

If your answer is you took a COVID test when you got sick, what other kinds of tests did you take? For example, did you take a Flu test? Did you take a Common Cold test? Did you take a Shingles test? Did you test for any diseases other than COVID-19? If not, why not? WTF is so special about COVID?

There was a time when people caught a cold they didn't take any ****ing tests, they just stayed home and ate chicken soup until they felt better. Saner times.

Trailer hooked up and ready to go tomorrow, why a trailer many ask.... Because I don't have a way to lift 350lbs twice into a truck bed without rupturing something I may want later. I always take my trailer to get heavy stuff or lumber. As a plus I just unhook the trailer and don't have to unload anything until I want to.
I have taken my engine hoist to put stuff into a truck bed but that's a pain.

Pollen is still thick as can be, tomorrow they say will be the peak.
I've spent less than an hr outside total all day.

I emailed the company made those jacks, they quit making them probably 20 plus years ago. Within 30 minutes had parts and operating sheet.
Not much to go on but quite the customer service even though they're Canadian.
