Default Prayers and/or good thoughts please
After weeks of delays they finally took my mom in yesterday to treat the fluid on her lungs...and wound up keeping her and putting her on oxygen. They told my brother she's not responding to treatments...she's going home but will get a hospice nurse.

Not sounding so good...

Her birthday was last wed. she turned 87...good long time at least.

Sorry to hear she's having a hard time. Fluid in the lungs is an awful sensation and makes it hard to even get up and walk.

I feel your pain, my mother is currently recovering from emergency surgery to stave off the onset of cancer in her in abdomen and she's 74.

Very sad. My mother-in-law passed away from Lung cancer on June 30th 2013.

The 1 year anniversary is coming up and she, and your mom, will be in my thoughts.

Hold your Mother in your arms and hug her with all of the love that you can.

While you still can.

Prayers sent for your Mom that she still has more time, and I truly hope that she does... but I am thinking back to the last time I was with my Mom.

I held her in my arms and did not want to let go, as for some reason I knew it would be the last time I would ever get the chance to do so.

After awhile Mom was a bit embarrassed, but I'm sure she also knew it was our last goodby..

I would give anything for just one more moment with her...

Wish now I had held her longer.....
