Can't leave well enough alone

Only a few of us can understand the obsession to to tear things apart for mods. I guess I am one that can not leave well enough alone and want to make improvements (at least in my mind). This is one of the reasons I try to stay away from the Vette Barn, Gary is a bad influence. :smilelol:

I need to find some scrap metal and weld in a bracket to mount my meth pump, I will be looking around the local area after work tomorrow for some metal to make the bracket. I am installing a meth kit in an attempt to prolong the life of my engine and a few other small mods.

If all goes well, I hope to hit the track next month for a couple of passes.

I hope I can get it back together.

Yes, the pump should fit just to the right of the windshield washer tank. Funny, I never put any fluid in the WW tank and it is still almost full, I dumped some on the floor when I disconnected the hose to the windshield. I was going to dump it all, but I guess I can pour it into my other vehicles.

I am going to mount my sensor for my boost gauge under the fender also.

pretty much sounds like my set up with the inner fender mount, I use the WW holder for the fluid. Works well but there are very few times I cant clean the windshield and it sucks!!

The few times I got caught in the rain I didn't need the WW fluid so I thought it would be a good move to use the tank. For trips I will have to take some glass cleaner with me.

I will be the same HP, this mod isn't going to get me anymore power, I am not retuning for the meth kit. Only installing it to keep it from knocking, can not afford a new race engine at this time. I also need to change my plugs and get my headers off my subframe, that will help the timing/knocking also. Hopefully next spring sometime I will get Ed to tune it.

It isn't as bad as it looks. I was working days this week but need to go in tonight for a few nights.

I am thinking about taken a couple of days off next week, working these crazy hours is wearing on me. I will let you know.
