Started raining around noon and wind picked up.. Super.

Changed the oil in my car, ran outta grease. I blame the grease gun.

Got gas for generator, good thing as power went out for a minute already.

I actually feel mostly normal today, perhaps venting yesterday did me some good.
Didn't feel great when got out of the car yesterday however.

Bear is cranked up today, son decided to play with him in the house which always ends badly... And it did. Dumbass. I let him clean up the mess they made.

Time for a donut and find something to watch on the idiot box.

FML. Was hoping for an uneventful day - nope

Planned to pick up GKid at school early at 12 due to storm coming in as all schools release early. Wife wanted to go shopping first at 10. Truck wouldn’t start. New battery but must have left accessory mode on when fixing sunroof leak on Sun. Tried wife’s car but again hasn’t been driven for 3 weeks and battery also dead. Got truck going at 11:30 in time for kiddo pickup, dropping wife at grocery store (BTW no hot dogs or buns already), trip to dump and drop off kiddo at daughters work.

Meanwhile storm intensity quadrupled. Feels like a Hurricane. Wind are constant w gusts of 40mph already. 9 hrs or Tornado Watch is set here. Duke has over 50,000 outages already in NC. Hang in there Jim

Son is cooking dinner for us now in case power goes out.

Off to run some camera wires in attic, knees just love that.

It's been pouring rain in Charlotte for a while now and it'll be interesting to see how much we've gotten in one day .... probably 2" - 3" !

Nado warning popped up, we're just on the edge of warning area. Wind has been ripping all afternoon 30 to 40 knots. Bad stuff not supposed to hit until later.

Ton of rain and wind still, the main line will be here in an hr or so.

Brushed off about 3 inches of snow off my car this morning, now there's another 3 on it. Might have to go skiing this weekend.

Not sure how much rain we got but it had to be 3 to 4 inches. I swearthe news said an inch or so... Uhhhhh wth.

Did some cable running between nado warnings. Getting there.
All the schools are delayed for tomorrow, many roads will be blocked from storm debris and flooding.

Time for another donut.

We got a couple of inches snow. Mid-afternoon, the snow turned to rain. The plow came by to finish plowing the road from Sunday's 8" of snow, and put a nice big snowbank on both ends of the driveway. So, after taking the pups out, I brought the snowblower out and cleared off the ends of the driveway. Got soaked in the process. Oh, and it's windy as **** now too. Watched a widow-maker limb fall off a tree and into the front yard.
