I dont get it; it's now considered normal to take photos of deceased at a funeral and post them on the FB?

If I ever did something like that I'd still be in a coma....

Family poked fun at my son when he dressed up for his uncles funeral.. My wife took exception to it and waited till everything was over and the language she used made me blush.. I was never so proud of her
I had never heard the phrases white trash and whore used in those contexts.

There was a few raggedy shorts and tshits there too yesterday...
the only guy that got a pass from me was the grandson who owns a restaurant and brought food for everybody from work, and returned to work at 4pm.

I was taught better.

Been awhile since I've seen a good brawl at a funeral... I pretty much quit going to most over the lack of respect on her side of the family and that shit not tolerated on mine or at least wasn't in the past and that's even with a prison van and shackles being involved from the state of Ohio. To be fair on distant cousin did show with GF and she was drummed out of the place for dressing like a two bit hooker. My brain mouth filter has left the building mostly now so I know it'll get me in trouble soon enough...

I've done my best to not say anything over the last 3/4 months.
Jimmie was one of the "Friday seafood with VFW guys".
There's not even a mention of his USN service in the obit.
Luckily he will have an Honor Guard Ceremony ...because ... my dad and I set it up with Jimmie a couple of months ago.

Conversation of two of Jimmie's kids last night with me in the middle:

Son telling me they have the Honor Guard tomorrow (today), I already knew because my dad VFW post was handling the details.
Daughter from CO. chimes in:
"I didnt know we are having military, will they shoot the guns for him?"
As I explain to her the 21guns is for decorated Veterans, the son interrupts and blasts with:
"Well, if you would be around for decision making you would know!"

This is where the temperature of this funeral is...these kids didnt even visit their dad while he was in hospice.
He was there 8 days...not one kid visited, but..,.,one granddaughter and her brother visited often,... and one grand daughter visited once, enough to snap photos.

If I make it thru the day without an assault charge will be a miracle.

It's not for riding on rocks and it won't wash out from under you in a corner. I want something more fun to do than racing Toyota Corollas on the freeway, and hiding under my bed for 2 years.

I've got some other ideas too. Build an ultra light and fly it around the mountains here. More likely to not survive a crash in that though.

Sell my C5 Z06 and combine the money from the insurance and buy a C6 427 vert. I'm not finding any flaws in this idea.

Buy a couple of jetskis. Bad thing is they're not usable year round.

I've been riding motorcycles since I was 12. I've had countless dirt bike accidents and a total of 4 street bike accidents ( last one before this was 1986 ). Although motorcycles can be dangerous there is a thrill and a sense of freedom gotten that a car cannot replace. I still want something that gives a thrill while riding but isn't quite as dangerous.
