This guy was good. Parked himself at the bottom of an incoming hill. The detector went off as I reached the top, too late to slow down.






The officer was cool, he gave me a warning He actually said I was going slow for the type of car I was driving. 77 on a 65

I was going to ask him to make up a fake photo shoot. Putting his patrol SUV with all lights on, and me on the floor being handcuffed. I didn't want to push my luck though. Moments earlier I did, look the GPS's screen...

There is one thing about Little Bighorn Battlefield; all is staged. All the markers were erected by the US Army years after the battle took place. The markers is to give an idea to the tourist on where they might have fallen.










The dead soldiers were found two days after they died, they were bloated, Custer, and all officers are not buried there.

Custer is buried at West point, and all other officers were buried along the east coast.

They stated all others are buried under the big landmark there.



The tour guide said that the indians hated Custer, they over-killed him, cut-off his genitals, sliced his inner tights (for him not to be able to ride a horse on his afterlife), and the indian women stuck arrows in his ears for him to listen next time.

I bet there are hundreds of urban legends like the one that indians had their way with him...

From Montana into Canada. Sweet was busy with a work related trip, and we could not meet.
























At the border the Canadian Border Patrol had a field day with me and Betty Boop. They pulled me over
into a warehouse, searched me and The Vette. I was there for about an hour. I spoke with one of them, and
he told me people actually try to smuggle guns, drugs and other items into Canada daily. The newest thing is
illegal American aliens into Canada, because they cross the borer saying they are going on a vacation, and
stay there to work. They were very professional; kudos to them.












Some Canadian farmer is very happy to be there.








I got to the hotel on Sunday evening. The weather report was rain, snow, and clouds until Tuesday 4;30 AM. I had to make a decision; I didn't drive to the Canadian Rockies to see clouds...

Monday came along, and looked like this. I decided to stay an extra day goofing off in the hotel.

Great slides of a beautiful part of the country. I spent a few days at Bald Mountain campground in the BigHorns last August and every morning there were moose in the campground, sometimes only 20-50 feet from our camper. Great photographic opportunities.

Yeah that sort of sucked, as I was up in Fort McMurray. Funny, no smart ass remarks from Friz about the absence of snow, but I'll bet he'd sell his doggie cone for that rain though

Speaking of snow; the hotel manager told me that winters in Canada are actually 8-10 months long. It got cold up there on Monday night, but it was a great day by Tuesday mid morning.









Everytime I drove by a new "set" of mountains it was time to take a picture. Great scenery, clean air, and
crystal clear views up there
