I've been saying it forever, Pit Bulls are great dogs but very athletic and tenacious. Not a breed you want to acquire from the pound unless you have some experience with them.

Out there saving the chlidren's and shit.

i mostly find trash along our road, not too many stray doggies.

pizza box (marked cheese), little wine bottle (empty), and a Grape soda can (also empty) were today's find. all in the same area.

A friend of mine has a couple of pit bulls. They are friendly dogs and love to play catch.

I notice the article doesn't say what happened to the dog. Hopefully the family of the toddler either took it in, or is working to find it a good home. The good Samaritan dog walker already has a dog, so I wouldn't expect the dog walker to take the pittie.

My previous dog was attacked by one of the good ones with a good owner. I will NEVER trust the breed.

I disagree, every breed has good and bad(mean and friendly).. Neighbor guy nice but he got a dog that was mean as hell it turned out even though he raised it.

One or two good stories won’t change my mind about that bred being dangerous. I lived over a year with a woman who owned a well behaved pit.
