We're just lucky we don't need to drive much anymore. I fill the vehicles I drive maybe once per month. I've put more fuel in the ATV for plowing this month. Still a bit of a sticker shock for the F-250 when I fill it, but I feel really sorry for those that are still needing a long commute to work. CA commutes must be a disaster right now. The pic of sack-o-tomato was really telling. There are people that drive over the pass from there, and Tracy, to jobs in the bay area because they could not afford housing near work. The gas bill for a month must be insane.

Same, we don't drive much anymore. We keep the vehicles topped off at all times.

As far as the bay area commute it sucks bad! When we lived there we were only 6 miles from work so not to bad unless something happened on the freeway then the surface streets clogged. A ten minute ride turned into 30mins or more. Daughter moved to modesto and kept her job for about 3=4 months before giving up. The 2+ hour commute was to much. The bay always had an extensive part of the news focused on the commute, here on the news there is not a traffic segment. WIN! The biggest clog up is the grandpa doing 5 under the limit (includes me ) So glad to be in the sticks now

It's $4.39 for 87 $4.49 for 89 and $4.55 for premium in So. Cal. It's not that expensive in Newport Beach with all the millionaires. Where in So. Cal Beverly Hills?

Traffic here is done during weather because that is by far the worst cause of problems. Even then, as long as there's less than 6 inches it's fine.

$6.09 in Bridgeport CA. I always made sure I had enough gas when driving through to So. Cal. from Tahoe.

$3.29 here, yesterday. I will top her off today before it jumps higher.

Bridgeport Cal is over 6,000 ft high with a population of 542 people. The truckers are not going to go out of their way for nothing. Gas has been high in Bridgeport since the 50's. Nobody get's gas in Bridgeport.
