Best cardio training I've had in the past 10 years is mountain biking. I'm down from 270 to 225, and still losing. When I first started, I could barely ride 4 miles. That took me over an hour.

Now, I regularly do 11.5 miles and my current best is 1 hour and 27 minutes.

There are people that can do that particular 11.5 loop in 55 minutes, so I have a ways to go.

I have a tough time with cardio because I have a very bad injury to my lower right leg and knee thanks to numerous motorcycle accidents years ago. A bicycle doesn't give me any of the impact and wearing on my feet or knees that running does. I feel great when I get off of it, and it has actually made me stronger. I still have lingering body fat I can't get rid of, but I'm determined.

You're going to have to do that workout once (if you got a small) or twice (if you got a large) to work that off. I hope it was worth it.

As I said earlier, you can't out train a poor diet. When's the last time you made your famous fried rice and SPAM casserole?
You fitness nazi!! As long as this doesn't get in the way of attending Raider games!

I'm not running unless I'm chasing something or something is chasing me.*

*Disclaimer: If boobs are involved, I may be persuaded to run for other reasons.

It's more the other way around. Those Raider games are quite the hurdle.

That's a pretty good description, nutrition nazi/fitness freak. My journey from fatass to fitness freak started 9/1/09. It won't ever be over, as it's definitely a lifestyle change. I have an excel file that has everything I've eaten and done for exercise in the past 18 months. It has my run distances and times. You can pretty much see every Raider game I attended whenever there's an outlier time, or just search for the word "beer" in the sheet.
