[CFB] Week 5 2022 College Football Game Day Thread [/CFB]

WEEK 5

We've got a GREAT slate of games this week, including some huge ranked match-ups between Power 5 conference opponents. We're going to find out a lot about the ACC, the Big XII, and the SEC this week:


*In the ACC this afternoon, we get unbeaten #23 Florida State hosting #22 Wake Forest coming off that brutal 2 OT loss to Clemson. In a battle of Top 10 unbeatens, #5 Clemson hosts #10 N.C. State in primetime tonight.

*In the Big XII, #25 Kansas State hosts Texas Tech, with those 2 schools coming off huge wins over Oklahoma and Texas, respectively. #16 Baylor hosts #9 Oklahoma State and the winner will have a clear path to the Big XII title game.

*In the SEC, #2 Alabama goes on the road to #20 Arkansas, coming off their loss to Texas A&M. Alabama could not cover on the road vs. decent teams last year, and that trend continued this season against Texas a few weeks ago. In a battle of highly ranked unbeatens, #7 Kentucky travels to #14 Ole Miss. Yes, Kentucky vs. Ole Miss is a massive football game in the SEC 5 weeks into the season.

Interested to see how Michigan's offense looks against Iowa and how Texas A&M fares against Mississippi State. The App State loss and the QB change really seems to have sparked a fire.

Unranked Florida, Miami Of Ohio, Youngstown State, and Northern Illinois. And yet they're ranked #7. The Love fest by the AP for the SEC continues.

QB for Bama Young looks to be done, something in shoulder as arm was just hanging.

Bryce Young - ouch. Hope he can eventually come back. Alabama rolling regardless and scores a TD with the backup QB.

Oklahoma State looking good yet again so far.

Huge win for Ole Miss. Bad luck for Kentucky, they played well but the turnovers got them.

Kinda of suprised NC State playing this well against Clemson. Lots of penalties so far.
