Default Headphones

Bought a set of Sennheisers back in '76, for 40.00. Sold them to a friend a few years later for 40.00.

Then I replaced them (originals were black) with a pair found on Ebay.

The type is have were used in many studios, they are so light and powerful with such a great sound, for the time! I have a more recent version as well.

I wear these by Howard Leight when I am on my zero turn. Comfortable and decent sound for what they are. I listen to the radio when I mow, but you can patch a device in as well. These are much better than the Worktunes I had been using before.

I listen to tunes while on the mower too. For that I have a set of Bose noise canceling wireless. Some music I prefer super loud, newer type headphones limit the volume ….

I have a pair of the HD650's and they sound great but I've never gotten used to dedicated listening on headphones.

I use a $15 Apple set of earbuds (with a boomer cord) in my I-phone so I can listen to music on my walks on youtube. The highest quality sound I've ever heard. Crystal clear and amazing. And all KINDS of good, obscure shit to listen to on youtube. None of this 'classic rock' crap with Pink Floyd and Journey. **** that. (and Slewfoot, too)

You must have gone apoplectic when G Gordon stopped his show! Waking up in the morning to hear instructions on killing a dude with a pencil was a good time! The way he said mairt-say-dis

Topping D90SE (DAC)
Schitt Audio Lokius (EQ)
Topping A90 Discrete (AMP)

Focal Clear Mg --> XLR cabling
HiFiMan Arya --> XLR cabling

Hard to top this for the money. It's my office setup. Roughly a little over $4,000 for this rig.

I think you’re stuck with Chinese 3rd party pads. I couldn’t find anything else and they’re NLA from Sennheiser. https://www.amazon.com/Cushions-Repl.../dp/B0823NPQJC

Unless you just need an excuse to buy a new pair of cans: https://crinacle.com/rankings/headphones

Sennheiser, is not even close to the product they used to be IMO......of course really what is?.....I can't stand to buy anything new, or replace an old quality product, because 100% the new replacements will be shitty quality.
