Once you've done it, you understand it's really not that tough of a job.

You're just swapping the inner cluster surround (the plastic piece the rings glue to) over to the other cluster, right?

Yep... Ive taken these cars apart so many times I could do this blindfolded and drunk. Only time consuming apart is getting the cluster plug out... sometimes they dont want to release and take lots of wiggling.

there are just a few more parts you have to take out on the vert to get the dash out.

It's like fun, only different! At least it's second nature now.

BTW, please get one of these!

Yeah I know Im not with the times when it comes to TV etc... I have 4 remotes and know what they all do

Got it all done today along w/ putting in my C6Z shifter w/ Vette Essentials boot and VE e-brake boot. Also installed my Pioneer Premier HU w/ integrated XM. The HU plate is from CF member VrumVrum... he used to custom make them. The final pics were taken after I got back from dinner tonight and dont do they subtle additions justice. I really like what a few bits of brushed aluminum in the right spots do for the interior.

Clusters apart...

Part getting swapped

Bezels installed on the red cars cluster

Done

That's false advertising, I want my click back Bryan.

Really like the bezel rings. They add a nice subtle touch.

But it's so nice to hop in and not think about all the dirt your grinding into that nice tan carpet. Husky only makes C5 ones in black and Weather Tech doesn't make theirs for the C5, only C6. I've emailed them 2x now asking them to make tan C5 ones... have them in my truck and they're wonderful.

Took a few better pics this morning in the natural light...
